Racial Equity Seed Fund 2022-23 Grantees

Race cannot continue to predict educational outcomes for our students in Boston. Edvestors has reimagined our Seed Fund to focus explicitly on advancing racial equity. Working in partnership with students, families, schools, community organizations, and Boston Public Schools, we aim to build an action-based learning community to implement, test, and scale solutions developed by those most impacted in schools to advance racial equity.

The School Application is for Boston Public, Parochial, and Independent Charters who have identified racial equity as a school-wide focus and priority. The 2022-2023 School Cohort are:

  • Blackstone Elementary
  • Boston International Newcomers Academy
  • Cristo Rey High School
  • Fenway High School
  • Gardner Elementary
  • New Mission High School
  • Trotter Elementary

The Community Organization Application is for organizations with demonstrated commitment to advancing racial equity in schools and that work directly with students, families, and/or educators. The 2022-2023 Community Organization Cohort are:

  • Chica Project
  • Massachusetts Advocates for Children
  • Partners for Youth with Disabilities
