Applications for the 2024-2025 Math Learning Communities Grant are now closed.

Math Learning Communities (MLCs) Cohort 2024-2025

MLCs are professional learning communities built on a strong foundation of commitment to continuous learning and learning in community. MLCs will be designed by school teams as a sustainable and supportive space to address a problem of practice in math education. We are happy to award the grant to the following schools:

• Boston Adult Technical Academy
• Dearborn STEM Academy
• English High School
• Mather Elementary School
• Mendell Elementary School
• TechBoston Academy

Math is for Everyone Cohort 2023-2024

We launched the Math is for Everyone (MifE) initiative in 2021 to partner with schools to increase equitable enrollment and student success in mathematics. Teachers and administrators within each school lead unique projects focused on one of three key areas: Culturally Responsive Teaching and Pedagogy; Equitable Mathematics Pathways; and Mathematics Culture: Identity and Agency. EdVestors staff work with project leads to support planning and implementation, including building opportunities for cross-school learning and collaboration.
