From Schooling to Learning: Leveraging Community-Based Arts Education for Credit

In 2012, EdVestors led a partnership between Boston Public Schools and community organizations to provide course credit to students participating in community-based arts learning. This pilot project was designed to expand students’ access to and participation in arts education, a requirement for high school graduation.

Survey of Public School Parents in Boston on Arts Programming

In 2014 EdVestors released a survey, conducted by MassINC Polling Group, finding strong support for arts education among parents in Boston Public Schools (BPS). BPS parents believe arts education keeps their children engaged in school and helps improve academic performance.
