2022 Application

For the 2022 School on the Move Prize, all schools in the Boston Public School district serving students in grades KO-12 were eligible to apply for Round 1. Applicants built an evidence base demonstrating progress, shared their stories of improvement, outlined relevant data, and described the strategies that helped them accelerate learning this year.

The following schools were selected to move on to Round 2:

  • Dante Alighieri Montessori School
  • Boston Green Academy
  • Blackstone Elementary School
  • Jeremiah E. Burke High School
  • William E. Channing Elementary
  • Gardner Pilot Academy
  • Mattahunt Elementary School
  • Ellis Mendell Elementary
  • Charles H. Taylor Elementary
  • Mario Umana Academy

Round 2 applications are due on June 10th.

Stay tuned for updates as we identify finalists and prepare for our annual School on the Move Prize Ceremony in the fall, where we will celebrate stories of improvement across BPS and announce the 2022
