Since its launch in 2002 by a group of philanthropists and business leaders, EdVestors has raised over $4 million to fund strategic urban school improvement efforts in Boston and Lowell.
EdVestors hosts the innovative annual Urban Education Investment Showcase each spring, an interactive event where participating donors hear directly from finalists and make individual grantee selections of their choosing. EdVestors also hosts the annual School on the Move Gala each October, presenting the Thomas W. Payzant School on the Move Prize, a $100,000 award to one of Boston's most improving schools.
